How To Put Your Detector Back In Setup Mode

This process is required so that you can connect your detector to your home Wi-Fi network. To be able to connect, you need to put your detector back in setup mode.

  1. Open your detector battery compartment.
    Open your detector battery compartment.
  2. Remove the batteries and then put them back.
    Remove the batteries and put them back.
  3. You should hear a bip and your detector will start blinking greenn. This means your detector is in setup mode.
    A blinking green light indicates the detector is in setup mode.
  4. Put the battery cover back. You are ready to setup your detector. Go back to the Alert section of the app and launch “Add a detector” again.
